Neighborhood House is looking for a Full-time Program Coordinator to develop and supervise programming for aging and disabled adults (18 years or older) in a dynamic, fun, recreational therapy environment. We are seeking a highly responsible, self-motivated individual who will build a program of evidenced-based interventions for aging / disabled adults 18 years of age and older. The monthly program must be both culturally competent and adaptable, based on the diverse backgrounds and functional levels reflected in adult day care clients. To support smooth implementation of the program, the Program Coordinator will supervise and/or mentor 1-2 Therapeutic Recreation Technicians in training, oversee training of direct care staff as it relates to program implementation, and work with the Director to identify other staff training needs. We are looking for a team player, with strong organizational and leadership skills, a desire to elevate under-served populations in the local community, and a commitment to the helping profession of day care. Bilingual candidates preferred.
Compensation includes an annual salary of $45,000 DOE. Benefits include vision & dental insurance, and optional enrollment in 401(K) savings plans, based on length of employment. Additional benefits include free day care for one child or adult family member, and free daily lunch.
