Instructional delivery, management of learning environment and assessment of student learning for Therapeutic Recreation Technician course. Follows the course curriculum outline, prepares and delivers lectures and other classroom activities. Keeps the curriculum updated with DOPL requirements. Maintains a Canvas presence including syllabus and grades. Prepares and administers student evaluations. Keeps accurate student records. Provides ADA accommodation requests as directed by college policy and procedure. Answers student questions and provides necessary feedback on student progress. Answers emails and phone messages in a timely manner. Meets college and department deadlines and evaluates student work in a timely manner including submitting final grades on time. Completes all required training. Demonstrates and supports professional commitment to department and college mission and values. Follows SLCC policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by Department. Demonstrated skills and record of success in establishing good working relationships with students, staff and faculty. Must be dependable. Timely submission of a copy of final grades and completed department assessment forms to department office.
