Gain professional experience and knowledge with hands-on experience in all aspects of community-based therapeutic recreation with an internship at the National Ability Center! Programs include: Equestrian (EFL, Hippotherapy & Adaptive Riding), Aquatics, Archery, Camps, Rock Climbing, Nordic Skiing/Biathlon, Family & Group Programming, Water-skiing, Wakeboarding, Paddle Sports, Cycling, Mountain Biking, Military Programs, Ski & Snowboard, Sled Hockey and more! Position Title: Therapeutic Recreation Intern
Minimum Requirements Current student within a Therapeutic Recreation program or immediate graduate.

Current CPR and First Aid Certification (must be current for duration of internship).

Commitment to a positive, fun and team-oriented working environment.

Working knowledge of National Ability Center policies and procedures (upon training).

Completion of a Utah State background check & valid driver’s license.

Basic computer processing skills including Microsoft Office.

Experience with people of all abilities, programming and safety needs.

Ability to give and receive feedback in a positive manner.

Commitment to all responsibilities and expectations.

Ability to help transfer people in and out equipment (lifting required).

Ability to withstand long hours in the outdoors.
